After traveling to the Middle East in August of 2016, I stumbled upon this boy in the small village of Rum, Jordan. The image I took, and the stories I heard while spending time with his family, inspired me to begin this project.
Wander Faces was founded in order to document individuals through portrait photography. The project began summer of 2017 when I visited several regions around the world.
The portraits taken over the course of that summer aimed to educate, inspire, and deconstruct stereotypes often given to people we do not know.
