Skier, traveler, photographer
Born in the UK to Irish parents and raised in Utah, I recently moved from Sydney, Australia to Tokyo, Japan. My childhood was marked by skiing in Utah and summers on the west coast of Ireland. Venturing down to Hospital, Co. Limerick and Brandon, Co. Kerry gives me a bit of what always has been, and always will be, home.
My love for ski racing has always had a significant influence on my life. The endless days of training since the age of 11 have instilled dedication and passion in all that I do. Ultimately, this perseverance allowed me to fulfill my dream of competing for Ireland in the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia. Accomplishing my own dream drove me to discover the dreams of others. In the summer of 2017, I traveled to 21 countries in order to begin Wander Faces, a photography project aimed at deconstructing stereotypes of people around the world.
These experiences have fueled my conviction for traveling, outdoor adventure, and exploring new cultures. More importantly, photography has given me the opportunity to capture and share these experiences from behind the lens. Now based in Tokyo, I’m looking forward to exploring a new part of the world and sharing those experiences with everyone back home, wherever that may be.
Go far, go often.
